MUC16(redirected from ovarian cancer-related tumour marker CA125)
MUC16A gene on chromosome 19p13.2 which encodes a protein that provides a protective lubricating barrier against particles and infectious agents at mucosal surfaces. It is more commonly known as CA125, and is a highly characteristic marker of ovarian carcinomas.
