orogastric

pertaining to the mouth and stomach.

orogastric intubation
passing a stomach tube via the mouth. The tube is of rubber or plastic. To avoid having the animal chew it there is a preference for a nasogastric tube. If it is passed per os, it is standard practice to use a mouth gag.
