Three LOX inhibitors, the non-specific inhibitor
nordihydroguaiaretic acid, the 5-LOX inhibitor Rev-5901 and the 12-LOX inhibitor baicalain were all found to inhibit in vitro and in vivo growth of pancreatic cancer cell lines as well as inducing apoptosis.
