nonadherent dressing

Etymology: L, non + adhesio, sticking to; OFr, dresser, to arrange
a dressing designed specifically not to stick to the dried secretions of a wound.

nonadherent dressing

A dressing that has little or no tendency to stick to dried secretions from the wound.
