MYO9A(redirected from myosin-IXa)
MYO9AA gene on chromosome 15q22-q23 that encodes a protein belonging to the myosin gene superfamily of motor proteins. MYO9A is a so-called unconventional myosin involved in intracellular movements. It regulates Rho activity in neurones and has a role in regulating neuronal morphology and function.
