(mo͞on′īd′)adj.
1. Having the eyes wide-open, as in infatuation, wonder, or grief: "Didn't she have a hundred moon-eyed ninnies after her in Texas?" (Zane Grey).
2. Able to see well at night.
3. Moonblind.
