mon·o·neu·rop·a·thy mul·'ti·plex

nontraumatic involvement of two or more portions of the peripheral nervous system (for example, roots, plexus elements, nerve trunks), usually sequentially and in different areas of the body; most often the result of vasculitis.

mononeuropathy multiplex

a peripheral nerve disorder characterized by numbness, pain, and weakness in several areas of the body. The symptoms may develop suddenly in the region supplied by one peripheral nerve and days later in the region of another nerve.
