A complex of cardiac anomalies affecting 40-60% of those with trisomy 21–eg, VSD and atrioventricular canal–endocardial cushion defects, less often, tetralogy of Fallot, secundum ASD, PDA; aortic regurgitation and mitral valve prolapse may also occur.
