ARID5A(redirected from modulator recognition factor I)
ARID5AA gene on chromosome 2q11.2 that encodes a protein which binds to AT-rich stretches in the modulator region, upstream of the human CMV major intermediate early gene enhancer. ARID5A may act as repressor and downregulate enhancer-dependent gene expression.
