mistranslation Molecular biology
The translation of the wrong amino acid from an mRNA codon, which may have no effect, result in a truncated (shortened) polypeptide chain, or change the protein’s function.
An inaccurate transfer of information from a patient to a healthcare provider, or from the provider to the patient, typically attributed to a language barrier.
