(mī′krō-nīz)
To pulverize a substance into particles only a few micra in size.

micronize

an industrial process of heating grain or pharmaceuticals with microwaves from infrared burners and then rolling to achieve a standard size. The purpose is to produce a dry, free-flowing product.
