metanephric adenofibroma
metanephric adenofibroma
A rare, benign biphasic (epithelial) and stroma (renal) lesion, in which the epithelial component is that of a metanephric adenoma: cellular, closely packed acini, scattered tubules, numerous solid areas, and occasional "glomeruloid bodies". The individual cells are small, with scant pale cytoplasm; calcospherites may be present.Segen's Medical Dictionary. © 2012 Farlex, Inc. All rights reserved.
