Se concluye que la frecuencia de presentacion de gasterophilosis en el sur de Chile es elevada, siendo mayor la miasis cavitaria por Gasterophilus nasalis ubicados en la region antro pilorica y duodenal de la mucosa glandular, razon por la cual casi todos los estomagos que presentaron esta ubicacion larvaria presentaron ulceraciones secundarias en la mucosa escamosa, indicando que la alteracion en el vaciamiento gastrico por estados larvarios en el antro pilorico, aumenta la linea de llenado gastrico por encima del margo plicatus, aumentando considerablemente la ulceracion en esta region gastrica.
Presencia de Gasterophilus intestinalis en la region adyacente al margo plicatus en la curvatura menor de la mucosa escamosa.

Em 17/20 (85%) animais, as lesoes macroscopicas estavam localizadas proximas ou ao longo do margo plicatus, o que corrobora os resultados de LEITE et al.
Outro estomago (1/21) apresentou formacao pediculada, de consistencia fibroelastica e coloracao rosea proxima ao margo plicatus, com aproximadamente 1,2cm de diametro.
As lesoes gastricas na porcao aglandular adjacente a margo plicatus apresentaram melhora (grau 2 a 3), porem, as lesoes proximas a cardia ao longo da curvatura menor apresentavam-se ainda intensas (grau 6).
Portanto, a gastroscopia dos quatro animais incluidos na segunda etapa revelou a presenca de duas ulceras na mucosa gastrica aglandular, ao longo da margo plicatus (grau 1, Figura 1 c,d) no ponei I (que recebeu NaCl 0,9%) e sete ulceras (grau 4, Figura 1 e,f) no ponei III.
