locally advanced breast cancer

Abbreviation: LABC.
Breast cancer that has spread to neighboring tissues but has not widely metastasized. LABC includes large primary tumors (greater than 5 cm in size), tumors that have spread to the skin, inflammatory breast cancer, and tumors that have spread to multiple axillary lymph nodes.
