liquid malignancy

A blood-borne (“haematological”) malignancy—lymphomas, leukaemias and myelomas—which arises in bone marrow or lymphoid tissue and typically spreads via the circulation. In the UK, therapy for liquid malignancies is usually carried out by haematological oncologists.
