kinlein

 [kin´līn]
a system of professional health care developed by M. Lucille Kinlein; it was formerly considered part of nursing but separated from nursing in 1979. The governing philosophy is called esca (exercise of self care agency). The residential care centers are called detente centers. Called also kinlein care.
