Although linear methods to derive the kinetic analysis
from TG data were developed many years ago [5, 7, 11-14], they are extensively used nowadays in studying kinetic analysis
of polymers decomposition [15-21].
In this research, binary linear regression method based on Arrhenius kinetic theory was used for kinetic analysis
of the data obtained in the TG/DTG experiments.
For this reason, high quality kinetic analysis
(and derived activation energy values) is essential for these models because of the need to extrapolate fast heating rates and high temperatures applied in the laboratory measurements to very slow heating and relatively low temperatures typical of geological conditions.
