KIF26A(redirected from kinesin family member 26A)
KIF26AA gene on chromosome 14q32.33 that encodes an atypical kinesin which plays a key role in enteric neuronal development by repressing a cell growth-signalling pathway, possibly by interacting with GRB2 to prevent its binding to SHC, thereby attenating GDNF-Ret signalling. KIF26A binds to microtubules but lacks microtubule-based motility.
