In the conditioned cell culture medium from UMSCC1 cells with higher expression of miR-375, the most significantly reduced secreted proteases were a group of serine proteases known as kallikreins: kallikrein 5, kallikrein 6, kallikrein 10, and kallikrein 13. The secreted levels of these proteases were significantly suppressed by 95%, 98%, 93%, 89%, respectively, compared to the empty vector control line (Figure 6, A and B).
