JAM3

A gene on chromosome 11q25 that encodes a member of the  immunoglobulin superfamily, which localises in the tight junctions between high endothelial cells of lymph nodes and acts as a counter-receptor for ITGAM, mediating leukocyte-platelet interactions. It is involved in regulating transepithelial migration of polymorphonuclear neutrophils.
