air ionization therapy(redirected from ionization therapy)
air ionization therapyThe use of a special device to artificially produce negatively charged ions in the air. Advocates of AIT believe that increased positively charged particles in the environment, largely due to air pollution, cause various diseases; air ionisers have been approved by the FDA for treating allergies, hay fever, and other respiratory diseases, but not other conditions.
