intraosseous injector

A device that inserts a needle into the bone marrow. It is used in emergency resuscitation to gain access to the central circulation of a patient with severely low blood pressure caused by cardiogenic arrest, cardiogenic shock, diarrhea, hemorrhage, sepsis, or vomiting.
