[1] The use of this material is very popular because it has several advantages such as light, biocompatible, aesthetic, relatively cheap, low water absorption, easy to manipulate, polish and repair, [1,2,4,5] but this material is not yet ideal in fulfilling the mechanical requirements of a denture base because it has a relatively low
impact strength, transverse strength, and modulus of elasticity, making it more susceptible to failure during clinical use.

The problems occurring during the investigation of
impact strength of adhesive joints are associated with large discrepancies of research findings and their low repeatability on test machines manufactured by different producers [2, 11, 12].
On comparing the mean
impact strength by using One Way ANOVA and Unpaired 't' test it was observed that statistically highly significant difference was present when comparison was made between mean
impact strength of intact teeth and reattached fractured teeth.
The copolymers provide improved flowabilty and
impact strength, while the metal fiber provides the shielding properties.
In the present study, the
impact strength, flexural strength, thermal conductivity and surface discoloration of the heat cure PMMA resin reinforced with human hair fibers and copper fibers were investigated.
Two formulations offer medium and high
impact strength for injection molding applications such as those now using ABS.
Javad Moftakharian, R&D Manager of Aira Polymer Pishgam Company, the application of nanoparticles in the industrial production of UPVC products significantly increases the
impact strength of the products.
The aim of this research is to prepare the composite specimens for conducting the experiment, investigate the
impact strength of Bertam leaves fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester, and to optimize the properties of Bertam leaves fiber for use as reinforcement in unsaturated polyester resin by varying fiber sizes.
The
impact strength of 10.28 MPa, compressive strength 14.25 MPa, Thickness Swelling 13.7 % and water absorption of 51 % was established by testing, for commercial particle board.
As mentioned above, this blend sample exhibits the highest
impact strength. Moreover, a region with a width of about 2 mm is remained in this blend sample after impact testing at -20[degrees]C.
