Dihydrobaikiaine; 2-piperidinecarboxylic acid; saturated picolinic acid; the l-isomers of the Δ1- and Δ6-dehydropipecolic acids are intermediates in the catabolism of l-lysine; pipecolic acid accumulates in disorders of the peroxisomes.
