an aminoaciduria consisting of excessive histidine in the urine, usually in either histidinemia or during pregnancy.

Encontraron una frecuencia de 27% de aminoacidopatias en pacientes de alto riesgo (27/99 muestras) representando 1 caso de fenilcetonuria, 1 de hidroxiprolinuria, 1 de alaninuria, 6 casos de cistinuria, 2 de homocistinuria y 2 casos de histidinuria. Mientras que en la poblacion control encontraron 9% de positivos para cistina, indicando que podrian ser heterocigotos para alguna mutacion de cistinuria.
