heroin babies Babies who have received a regular morphine dosage via the placenta before birth and who show withdrawal signs after birth. These include diarrhoea, vomiting, sweating, sneezing, shakiness, hyperactivity, breathing difficulties and convulsions and persist for 1–3 weeks.
