This immunophenotype is characteristic of NK-like T-cell lymphoma frequently seen secondary to
hepatosplenic T-cell lymphoma.
On the same day, an abdominal ultrasound exam revealed hepatosplenomegaly and hypodensic lesions in the liver, suggesting possible
hepatosplenic involvement of fungal disease.
Notable exceptions are subcutaneous panniculitis-like T-cell lymphoma and
hepatosplenic T-cell lymphoma, which are usually CD8 positive (Figure 9, A through E).
Primary hepatic or
hepatosplenic non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in children.
Computed tomographic scan showed no visceral lymph node enlargement or
hepatosplenic lesions.
Systemic Bartonella henselae infection with
hepatosplenic involvement.
Schistosoma mansoni has the greatest impact on residents of disease-endemic areas who have highgrade infection and progressive
hepatosplenic disease with portal hypertension and its manifestations.
Hepatosplenic T-Cell Lymphoma: [CD2.sup.+], [CD3.sup.+], TCR [gamma][delta]+, TCR [alpha][beta] rarely +, [CD5.sup.-], [CD7.sup.+], [CD4.sup.-], [CD8.sup.-/+], [CD56.sup.+/-], [CD25.sup.-]; TCRG gene rearrangements +/-, variable TCRB gene rearrangements 2/+; isochromosome 7q and trisomy 8 common.
Ariza (7) and Diaz (8) have reported patients with chronic
hepatosplenic brucellosis after remote episodes of brucellosis (2-40 years previously).
henselae causes cat-scratch disease with regional lymphadenitis and occasionally
hepatosplenic disease in the immunocompetent host, and bacillary angiomatosis, cerebritis, or peliosis hepatis in the immunocompromised host (4-6).
Intravascular location of atypical lymphocytes is paired with small cell size or immunophenotypes distinct from IVLBCL in marginal zone lymphoma and
hepatosplenic T-cell lymphomas.
Hepatosplenic gammadelta-T-cell lymphoma with leukemic course after renal transplantation.
