hep·a·ran sul·fate

(hep'ă-ran sŭl'fāt),
A heteropolysaccharide that has the same repeating disaccharide as heparin but with fewer sulfates and more acetyl groups; accumulates in people with certain types of mucopolysaccharidosis.
