hairy elbow syndromeA rare, usually sporadic (autosomal dominant or recessive cases have been reported; OMIM:139600) condition characterised by long vellus hair on the extensor surfaces of the distal third of the arms and proximal third of the forearm bilaterally, variably accompanied by hypertrichosis elsewhere on the body. About half of reported cases have short stature and a smattering of other anomalies.
