GPC4(redirected from glypican 4)
GPC4A gene on chromosome Xq26.1 that encodes glypican 4, a cell surface proteoglycan with heparan sulfate that may play a role in the development of renal tubules and the CNS.
GPC4’s adjacency to the 3’ end of GPC3 suggests that it may play a role in Simpson-Golabi-Behmel syndrome.
