Chemical constituents: The plant contains saponins, diosgenin,
gitogenin, chlorogenin, and ruscogenin and flvonoid triboloside.
The garlic bulbs extract had ten furostanol saponins, ten types of voghierosides, two eugenol diglycosides, agigenin 3-Otrisaccharide, and
gitogenin 3-O-tetrasaccharide [36].
Other sapogenins include tigogenin,
gitogenin, sarsasapogenin, yuccagenin and smilagenin.
