galvanic skin response biofeedbackA type of biofeedback therapy in which subtle changes in the autonomic system are monitored by the patient via a device that measures the changes in skin conductivity caused by minimal sweating. Galvanic skin response biofeedback is claimed to be useful for asthma, desensitisation of phobias, psychotherapy and stuttering.
