fistulise through the skin.
Splenic hydatid cysts may suppurate,
fistulise to adjacent organs or rupture into the peritoneal cavity or may present with massive lower gastrointestinal bleeding.
All our patients presented with only local manifestations that started with painful nodules which gradually increased in size, which then would
fistulise and open on the skin draining pus, while none of them had any systemic manifestations.
