fibrinogen-fibrin conversion syndrome

fi·brin·o·gen-fi·brin con·ver·sion syn·drome

a syndrome characterized by hypofibrinogenemia with incoagulable blood; it may be seen in abruptio placentae, prolonged retention of a dead fetus in an Rh-isosensitized mother, hemolytic blood reactions, bilateral renal cortical necrosis, and trauma.
