A drug that suppresses appetite by altering brain levels of serotonin, formerly used in the management of obesity.

An amphetamine-like substance that enhances weight loss. When used with phentermine, a similar drug, it has been implicated in the destruction of the pulmonary valve of a small percentage of patients.
