EPHX4(redirected from epoxide hydrolase 4)
EPHX4A gene on chromosome 1p22.1 that encodes epoxide hydrolase-4. Epoxide hydrolases are critical biotransformation enzymes that activate and detoxify epoxides by breaking down aromatic compounds to dihydrodiols, which can be conjugated and excreted from the body.
