electrochromatography

(ĕ-lek″trō-krō″mă-tog′ră-fē) [ electro- + chromatography]
The separation of large organic chemicals (such as proteins) from mixtures or solutions with the combined use of filtration (to separate molecules on the basis of their size) and electricity (which separates them based on their electrical polarity).
