and Powdermet Inc.'s TervAlloy high-strength dissolvable metals is a family of high-strength, low-density "zero valent metal" (Mg-based) composites that are engineered using nanotechnology to "go away when you are done with them." These fast biodegradable metals are currently being commercialized for multi-stage hydraulic stimulation, reducing the cost of completing an oil and gas well by tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars per well by eliminating the need for coiled tubing drill-outs
. When used with ball drop systems and pre-placed seats, they reduce water usage and completion time by enabling continuous pumping of up to 50 stages.
DYL's principal exploration and development activity is in Namibia through its 100% owned subsidiary Reptile Uranium Namibia P/L (RUN) with a focus on the Omahola Project Pre-Feasibility Study with concurrent resource drill-outs
on the mid to high grade INCA primary uraniferous magnetite deposit and in the secondary uranium mineralisation Tumas-Oryx-Tubas palaeochannel fluviatile sheetwash systems.
