By using a 34 X 45-cm radiographic plate, diagnostic-quality images could be acquired from the metatarsophalangeal joint distally, including the digits, using the standard orthogonal projections of lateromedial (Fig la and b) and dorsoplantar (Fig 2a and b) in the ostrich legs.
