dolorimeter
(dō″lor-ĭm′ĭ-tĕr) [″ + Gr. metron, measure]A device that applies pressure evenly and reproducibly to a body part; it can be used to measure a patient's pain tolerance (e.g., in arthritis or fibromyalgia).
