diaphragm breathAyurvedic medicine
A type of breathing taught in yoga in which the practitioner breathes through the nose, expanding only the diaphragm and rib cage; this is preceded by the abdominal breath and followed by the upper breath, which are all linked in a wavelike movement. Together, they comprise the so-called complete breath of yoga.
