Initial ultrasound examination revealed a 19-week monochorionic
diamniotic twins gestation.
With informed consent, we recruited 8 twin pregnancies, including 4 sets of DCDA twins, 3 sets of monochorionic
diamniotic (MCDA) twins, and 1 set of monochorionic monoamniotic (MCMA) twins (Table 1).
Monochorionic
diamniotic minimally conjoined twins: A case report.

diamniotic twin delivery presented at Shifa International Hospital in a multigravida (G 6 P 3+2) mother.
Boy K's mother was referred to Maternal Fetal Medicine for previous dichorionic
diamniotic twin gestation with demise of one twin at 8 weeks gestation and maternal anti-e, anti-K1 (Kell), and anti-C antibodies discovered during the prenatal antibody screen.
Dichorionic twins are, by default,
diamniotic. After the anatomic survey, growth surveillance should be conducted approximately every 4 weeks.
Chorionicity was classified as: dichorionic
diamniotic (DCDA), monochorionic
diamniotic (MCDA) and monochorionic monoamniotic (MCMA).
Cases of both monochorionic
diamniotic and dichorionic
diamniotic twin pregnancies were included.
Also delivered monochorionic
diamniotic placenta with a complete vesicular mole.
Twin-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), which is a serious complication in monochorionic
diamniotic twins (MCDA-T), involves unequal blood flow via the placental vascular anastomoses from the donor to the recipient twin.
A 23-year-old primigravida with a dichorionic
diamniotic twin pregnancy following IVF-ET first presented at our hospital at 9 weeks of gestation in June, 2014.
