* ACE inhibitors, used to treat hypertension, deplete zinc.
* Antibiotics deplete biotin, inositol, vitamins [B.sub.1], [B.sub.2], [B.sub.3], [B.sub.5], [B.sub.6], [B.sub.12] and vitamin K.
Even the commonest of drugs, e.g., aspirin,
depletes folic acid, iron, potassium, sodium, and vitamin C.
"Cognitive tasks, as well as emotional tasks such as regulating your emotions, can
deplete your self-regulatory capacity to exercise," said Kathleen Martin Ginis, associate professor of kinesiology at McMaster University, and lead author of the study.
However, in the case of DCA, exposure of rodents to high levels
depletes GST[zeta] activity, causing the pharmacokinetics in rats to become comparable to humans (Tables 3 and 4).
