cytotoxic antibiotics

Antibiotic drugs used to treat cancer. These drugs are, in general, unsuitable for treating bacterial infections. Examples are doxorubicin (Caelyx), daunorubicin (Cerubidin), dactinomycin (Cosmegen Lyovax), epirubicin (Pharmorubicin) and idarubicin (Zavedos).
