PPIB (redirected from cyclophilin B)
PPIB A gene on chromosome 15q21-q22 that encodes peptidylprolyl cis-trans isomerase B (cyclophilin B), which, as with other PPIs, accelerates protein folding. It catalyses the cis-trans isomerisation of proline-imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides.
Defects in PPIB cause osteogenesis imperfecta type 9.
