congenital systemic glutamine deficiencyA rare developmental disorder (OMIM:610015) characterised by severe brain malformation, multi-organ failure and neonatal death. Glutamine is largely absent from affected infants’ serum, urine and cerebrospinal fluid.
Defects in GLUL cause congenital glutamine deficiency.
