A term used in the context of a clinical trial, which is defined in terms of participants and process:
▪ Subject completion—Where a subject/patient ends active participation in the trial because he or she has, or is presumed to have, followed all appropriate conditions of a protocol.
▪ Study completion—The point in the study protocol at which all protocol-required activities have been executed.
