community type residential unitA community-based facility staffed and owned, managed or leased separately from a hospital, which provides housing for a limited number of people with a specific condition or disability who would benefit from living in such accommodation. The facility uses local resources to provide residents with staffed accommodation, room, board and supervision, and may provide other services (e.g., day care) to non-residents.
