cocaine rhabdomyolysis syndromeA potentially fatal complication of cocaine abuse, which is characterised by renal failure, profound hypotension, hyperpyrexia, and a marked increase in creatine kinase (CK). In those who die, disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) is almost always present.
