Etymology: L, clavicula + OFr, enochier
one of a pair of oval depressions at the superior end of the sternum. A clavicular notch is situated on each side of the sternum and articulates with the clavicle from the same side.
A notch at the upper angle of the sternum with which the clavicle articulates.
